Can Non-Americans or International writers write for Textbroker? The short answer is Yes.

Textbroker is one of the most popular content creation companies on the Internet. The company first started in Germany as textbroker.de, which helps create German content. It later expanded to US in the form of textbroker.com, where clients can buy content written in English. However, textbroker.com only allows American citizens or residents to write for it. So how can non-Americans write for Textbroker?

The answer is: through the UK version of the site, called textbroker.co.uk. This site was launched in December 2011, and invites English freelance writers from every country, except United States!

Here are some salient points about textbroker.co.uk

  • You can get paid through a PayPal account, or through a bank account in a European bank
  • Americans cannot apply for some reason.
  • The site will expect you to write your articles in British English, unless otherwise specified by client instructions
  • Like its .com cousin, this site also allows direct orders and writing teams. However, the last time I checked there weren't many writing teams. (16 total applications as of right now, which is November 2012)
  • Now something about how much work is available: Typically, the site has about 10-30 order in the queue at any given time. The queue is rarely empty.
